Answer:
The VSKYLABS Store is powered by 'Sellfy', which is an e-commerce store platform for digital product self publishers. VSKYLABS is running an online store by using it. The customer's personal information is protected and securely transmitted using the latest SSL encryption technology.
The VSKYLABS Store has an integrated contact and support system which may be used for direct contact with VSKYLABS.
Question:
Are the VSKYLABS projects fully compatible with X-Plane?
Answer:
The VSKYLABS projects are designed to be fully compatible with X-Plane without the need for any special action like installing additional add-on, plugins etc; just unzip and copy the project's folder into the required X-Plane folder and that's it!
One of the core VSKYLABS design concepts is to create the projects without any external/plugin dependencies. This is making the projects solid stable with the highest "MTBF" and the shortest time tables to handle X-Plane's sudden and unexpected major updates. This will ensure a "non-conflict" state of the projects with other plugins and a high usability rate throughout X-Plane's features evolution.
Keep in mind that X-Plane Flight Simulator is evolving and being updated on a regular basis. The VSKYLABS Projects are being maintained so it would keep up with X-Plane high development curve.
Important: X-Plane MAJOR-UPDATE releases, such as the release of a whole new X-Plane product (for example, the future release of X-Plane 12) may present multiple compatibility issures. The backward compatibility in X-Plane may allow to run a VSKYLABS project which was developed for X-Plane 11 on later X-Plane releases (X-Plane 12 in this case), however it may present various issues. For this reason, ALWAYS make sure that the project that you are about to purchase is intended specifically for the exact X-Plane version that you are using. There is no *forward compatibility* so unlike the case of *backward compatibility* which allows to run X-Plane 11 project on X-Plane 12 (with or without various issues), an X-Plane 12 project would NOT be able to run on X-Plane 11.
Question:
What do I have to do in order to get a new update for the VSKYLABS project that I've purchased?
Answer:
You will have to do absolutely nothing. VSKYLABS project updates are released as FREE UPDATES to all of its buyers (in separate for each project). The automatic VSKYLABS Store e-mail delivery system will sent you a message, announcing that an update was just released, and a free-download button to use.
The VSKYLABS projects for X-Plane 12 are being updated using the SkunkCrafts autoupdater (free to download autoupdater plugin). The projects will get updates automatically, once an upadte is being released.
Another method for obtaining an update is to make sure that you are a registered user in the VSKYLABS store/website, so you could log into your store account and download updated versions for your VSKYLABS Projects.
It is recommended to sign up to the VSKYLABS Newsletter to keep up with the latest development and updates news.
Question:
What if the add-on that I'll purchase will not work properly?
Answer:
There is a very responsive technical support for all of the VSKYLABS projects. There are several and easy contact methods that will trigger a fast and efficient help:
- The VSKYLABS Support Forum at the X-Plane.org website: High-traffic-rate and very active VSKYLABS support forum which is being monitored by VSKYLABS on a regular base. All questions and assistance is given directly from VSKYLABS, and you may find the help needed by other experienced users as well...or an already written solution.
- The VSKYLABS support forums, in which you can sign up and easily post any kind of technical issues for help.

If I will find out that I had purchased something that I thought to be something else...and it is not what I thought it would be...what do I do?

In this matter: all of the VSKYLABS projects are having detailed screenshots, videos and information within its pages. It is highly recommend to read the project's information before buying so it will be clear and straight with your expectations. It is also recommended to see or read projects reviews in the various X-Plane forums / YouTube channels / websites.
