VSKYLABS Install & Update (X-Plane 12)
Step 1 - Install
- Unzip & Place the aircraft folder into:
X-Plane 12 / Aircraft / - Do not place inside default bundles (e.g., “Laminar Research” or “Extra Aircraft”).
- Tip: Create
X-Plane 12 / Aircraft / VSKYLABS /and keep all VSKYLABS aircraft there!
Step 2 - Update (SkunkCrafts Updater)
Your VSKYLABS product has just been installed, but it may not be the latest version!
The VSKYLABS products make use of the SkunkCrafts Updater plugin, which allows customers to receive updates instantly.
Updates may include bug fixes, improvements, optimizations, and new features, and keeps you on the latest VSKYLABS files, manuals, and license (EULA).
The SkunkCrafts Updater plugin is a separate, non-VSKYLABS related software, and it is not included in this VSKYLABS product. To download the plugin, and for detailed installation and updating instructions, please refer to the following SkunkCrafts Updater main instructions and documentation pages:
Once set - Run the SkunkCrafts Updater to ensure you’re up to date!
Manual update/fallback (no SkunkCrafts):
Store packages are occasionally refreshed to match the latest dynamic version!
To re-download your purchases in case purchased from the VSKYLABS Store, you need a free Sellfy account:
- If you already registered to Sellfy with the same email you used for purchase, then you’re set.
- If you are not registered, please see our 'My Purchases' page at the VSKYLABS website.
To re-download your purchases in case purchased from X-Plane.org store, simply log into your store accound and download the package.
Re-download the base package from your store account and replace the old aircraft folder.
Keep in mind that the base package may require updating.
Tip: Make a local backup to your current working version before updating.
